1. Thru-hike the Appalachian trail. I have ALWAYS wanted to do this. I love hiking and backpacking, so this would be the ultimate adventure. It takes an average of 6 months to hike the whole trail and takes probably a year of planning to make it work, but it would just be amazing.
The small blue triangles are the 14ers
2. Climb all the 14ers (Mountains above 14,000 feet) in Colorado. I believe there are 53 mountains to hike and I've only climbed 3 of them. Like I said above, I love hiking and this would be another amazing adventure. 3. Run in a race with my boys. Not a kid's fun run, but a real race when they're older. This would just be so awesome for me.
4. Go on a bike tour in another country, like Sweden. I think this would just be so much fun.
5. Travel to another country. I went to Greece for my older sister's wedding, but other than that, I haven't really had the means or opportunity to really travel outside the US.
O-kay, so I know this has been going around blogland for awhile now, so if you haven't done it, consider yourself tagged! Have fun with it! :)

I was going to do the same thing! My brother through hiked the AT in 4 months. I think it would be great to do parts of it, but I would need a partner. He did it on his own. Great list!
oh, i love number three: run a race with your boys. it'll be a special day when it happens;-) and i'd love to do the same with my kids...
Hi Aimee,
What a great list:) I think it would be so cool to do the bike tour in Sweden...now talk about beautiful:)
Have a great weekend:)
The best vacation that I ever had was when my wife and I left the kids with Grandma and Grandpa and did a bike tour of Napa and Sonoma. I can only imagine how cool it would be to do one in another country.
I've already raced with my older daughter. She has never lost to me.
I want to do the bike tour in Europe as well
Great list! the App Trail and Rocky Mtn hiking sounds fantastic! ~D
A 6 month hike?! Wow, I can barely imagine...I've always thought it would be neat to hike the Grand Canyon, have you done that?
those 14ers are awesome - hell, the whole list is awesome and I hope U get to do it all!!
Amber - I have actually hiked the Grand Canyon. My husband and I did a backpacking trip to Havasupi, which is at the bottom of the canyon. We camped for about 5 days, then hiked back up. It was an awesome trip and lots of fun. But, the hike back up gave me some pretty nasty blisters!
I love this! I've done a few week/weekend trips of section hiking on the AT. Great fun.
